I am weird and can't believe I'm posting this!

BUT, i feel it is way too funny to keep this gem to myself. So, the following picture is the result of the following phone conversation:

BJ: Come hang out with me and JC

April: Ok, but I want to change first in case we go out

BJ: You should wear as little as possible


At first I thought about showing up in a hula skirt and bikini, but that would just be way too ridiculous. I went with this better option, an outfit I haven't worn since summer after freshman year of HIGHSCHOOL. Zoinks!

We then spent the rest of the night figuring out how to make the photo file smaller so it would fit perfectly on JC's roommate's desktop background, but Mac's are stupid. Right clicks rule!

Back to Milwaukee

Our regionals were in Milwaukee. We got new jerseys. Green looks good on us (but seriously, what color wouldn't?)!

We actually played really well on Saturday and made it to the semi-finals, but then lost to the number one seed. I left the weekend feeling like Hayride is on the right track for becoming the team we are wanting to be (i.e. nationals attending). Warm fuzzies for everyone.

We won sectionals and homecoming!

Last weekend, I went to Lawrence, KS, where Hayride won sectionals. This weekend, I went to Tulsa, where TU won its homecoming game against Rice.

Lawrence went well, but I left a good chunk of my knee skin on the fields.


The new stadium and campus entrance are really nice. I'm glad the current students are able to enjoy the $80,000 I gave to the school all those years ago (ok, I was on scholarship, but am still bitter).
